Favorite Brand of Speakers

I am new to this website and just wondering what peoples favorite brand of speakers and etc. I am looking into getting a car soon and i want to know what should i get. well write back

Rep Power: 0 well here where i live there is a brand called Digital Design (DD) and i am wondering about those there is a Honda CRX around here that has 2 15" digital design and he is the best around here so i have no idea about it i am a newbie about this well keep on responding.
DD is pimp...ran the 9917's for a while till we switched to custom made speakers.
my personal favorites are mb quart, lightning audio, boston, jl and focal. dont go by what people say. you have to listen to them

the best bass sub that has little sound quality.....mtx (RFL) I hit 150.8 db's with (1) 15 with 1000 watts.

I love Audiobahn. All around. Plus everything come lit up in Blue

Rep Power: 0 I have all Infinity speakers and I like them a lot. My Kappa Perfect subs really make some noise when i turn them up.
Make sure you get some good RCA Interconnects. I bought some XLN Pro cables and it was a night and day difference. The sounds so sooo clear and when there is no sounds... it's very silent.
Figure on spending at least 10% of your system's setup on cables. Don't skimp on them or you'll be a little less than thrilled.

Rep Power: 0 I agree cables are cables for 99% of the time.
There was this one time though. I was in a crunch to finish an install and needed a set of RCAs. Since it was so late I had no choice but to go to Ames. The damn things always picked up noise .... but then again they were basically a headphone size wire w/ RCA ends.
You could have cut them in half w/ those plastic kid scissors ...... lol.
