I have all Infinity speakers and I like them a lot. My Kappa Perfect subs really make some noise when i turn them up.

Make sure you get some good RCA Interconnects. I bought some XLN Pro cables and it was a night and day difference. The sounds so sooo clear and when there is no sounds... it's very silent.

Figure on spending at least 10% of your system's setup on cables. Don't skimp on them or you'll be a little less than thrilled.

not entirely true.... i bet i could make yer setup sound just as good as you have it using walmart or radio shack cables... its all about how you route them...

I agree cables are cables for 99% of the time.

There was this one time though. I was in a crunch to finish an install and needed a set of RCAs. Since it was so late I had no choice but to go to Ames. The damn things always picked up noise .... but then again they were basically a headphone size wire w/ RCA ends.

You could have cut them in half w/ those plastic kid scissors ...... lol.

depends on what kind of show it is, and what they are judging on. (aesthetics, spl, sq, etc.)

Well it was a night and day difference when I upgraded from the regular priced Stinger RCAs to the rather expensive Monster Cables. (and they were ran through the same path)

once again, you get what you pay for.

im not denying the fact that a higher priced wire will not reduce outside noise, im just saying that an "inferior" wire, if routed through a noiseless path can be as effective
