Box keeps shifting
I've never really found a great place to try to keep a sub box from moving back there. Consider the ***** that are used to secure the cargo net to the trunk. There might be something that you could feed through the rear seats to keep it at the back of the trunk. That's all I could think off. I have 2 JL 10W3's in a custom JL box so there is enough surface area and friction that my box just doesn't move. Well, those are my suggestions, i'm sure someone has a better one.

ya velcro would work...haha i never thought of that either. in my old car i used "L" brackets for wood working that had very tiny screws that i used to screw into the box and into the wood type **** thats over the spare tire. but u said not drilling so my idea is useless.
This is what I did with my box when this happened. Basically, it stays ontop of the carpet just fine, and it is the carpet that was moving around when I accelerated fast or stopped quickly. I just glued the carpet to the cardboard floor board. My box still slides a little bit every once in a while, but for the most part, it stays put since the carpet is glued down.

i drilled through the box and through the bottom of the car and bolted it to the body.........but then again, i had (4) 15's in a wall. But for your setup, velcro will work best.
Mmm always secure it to the car!! It's dangerous if you don't. One of my friends used to have a Civic Si.. she took it to the local shop and she got into in accident and the force was so great that the subs flew up and went through the back window... that would suck if they would of hit her in the head! So for safety's sake, you should screw the box down, bolt the box down, do whatever you have to do, so that it's not a projectile in an accident.. My two cents
i would have to say that the velcro is only effective with boxes that don't occupy almost the entire trunk. i put weather stripping underneath mine, and it still shifted around. i ended up putting pvc foam around the edges as a temp fix. it litterally can not move. i can't even budge it by pushing it

make an l-bracket out of wood (2X6 possibly, or two pieces of 1X2 attached in an l formation, the list is endless). cut it out l shaped with 90 degree l's on the inside. attach them to the floor at each corner of the box. the box doesn't slide, and no screws are in it. that or get some metal strapping, bolt one end to the floor, go over the box to the opposite side, bolt the other end to the floor. no moving. there are many options you could do. just choose what look you want, and how big or small you want it to be. i simply left the box unloaded, bolted through the box into the metal. then loaded the sub. no visible screws, doesn't affetd structural integrity. decide what you want to do aesthetically, and what you have to work with and so on, then go from there.

I like customs the best...hehe, I would love to see somebody try and steal his system...even if he left his seats down they would need a power screwdriver to detach all of the subs....
