I switched my cd player out and i left a cd in there and the other cd players is already hooked up. How do I get the cd out of the old cd player?

pretty easy. Have a friend hold the wires to the battery terminals (he may be shocked a little, but it shouldn't be too bad), and hit the eject button. Just make sure you've got the wires on the right terminals, or it might be a little worse.
I would suggest getting one of those big ol' 12 volt batteries (with the spring connectors on top) and some clamp connectors to get the cd out and for testing purposes.... connecting to the battery, although doable, is a
in my book.

in my book. Since you're just hooking it up to remove a cd and all you need is a little power, get a small 2 amp battery charger. This is also good for bench testing, or even usable as a power supply for an outside stereo...as long as you can get over the charger "humming."
12v doesn't mean it puts out the same power..... all batteries have different amp/volt/watt ratings.
I'm just recommending using one of those lantern type batteries because it's easy to hook up clamps to the springs and then to the wires on whatever yer powering (also with how much less wattage it puts out yer not gonna kill yerself with one). It's also very portable (my friend needed to get some window motors and other **** from a junkyard so that's what we used to test everything).
A battery charger will work too, though; all you need is some DC power. I tend to recommend what I've used b4, but lotsa ****'ll work.

yeah you would need the harness to gt it to where you could turn it on. every cd player comes with a harness if it needs one, don't you have one for either the cd player w/ the cd or for the new one thats in there extra?
