QUICK! Alarm problem w/ battery

I just installed my aem sri, and before doing that, I disconected the negative battery terminal... (instructions say so).... so now, when i'm putting it all together, as soon as i put on the negative wire, the alarm goes off and I can't turn it off with the remote... the alarm is factory... PLEASE HELP!!!

k nevermind.. all you have to do is let the alarm run a little and it shuts off by itself... i'm an idiot
