List dem systems!
Hey guys, it's the annoying little canadian guy again...
I was wondering if any of you would have any reccomendations for a stereo system to buy. I'm going shopping soon, and I'd like to know what're the best kinds/most expensive/best value/cheapest and so on.
I'd appreciate it if you guys could give me some 411, i could use it! I dont wanna get stuck with a sucky system in my 03 Civic.

well, i could point you in a general direction....
just gotta answer these 4 questions:
1 - budget?
2 - what do ya listen to?
3 - do you care about keeping your trunk space?
4 - any brand preferences?

heres what ya do....open your wallet and find out how much money you have. aske around locally about good reputable shops that warranty the labor on the install. go there and tell the sales guy how much you have. listen to the speakers and buy what sounds best that you can afford.

Well, i hit up Future Shop today, and I picked out a Pioneer deck, a Rockford 800 watt dual audio coil amp, two 6.5 infinity's for the front with tweeters, and 2 infinity's for the back.
It all came out to around 1500 Canadian, so I'd appreciate it if y'all could give me some feedback on that choice, thanks.

I'd go with any new pioneer 5500 deck and up so good choice there, never liked RF subs but some setups I've heard had their amps and they performed nicely, as for the infinity's they will give you nice highs if its one of the highend models, my friend had to tweek his 6.5" perfects for a few days untill he got it balanced.. i wouldnt get infinity 6x9's for the back though, I just dont like infinity bass output but again the highs should be nice... good luck, hope this helped.

dual coil amp?
and be sure to go by the rms ratings and before you buy an RF sub and amp get the model numbers and call RF. future shop aka best buy is notorious for matching the wrong amp to the wrong speakers.

I definitely agree about the Pioneer head units...I love mine!
My steering wheel remote doesn't always work, but that's because of the dash angle, not the remote itself.
I have Pioneer 6.5 three-ways in front, but I'm sure the Infinitys are great.

I know everyone is saying Pioneer HU are the best but i have a Panasonic and i love mine. Mine has the little graphics and all that and i havent had one problem with mine, I definately would give it 2 thumps up and would recomend Panasonic.
