Ok... so I have decided to go ahead and get a clarion unit... but i seriously cannot decide which model i want... the dxz935 with the skr5 center channel speaker or the dxz835mp... they both have their ups and downs to me... is there a major sq difference between the two or are they similar in sound??? having mp3 is a plus but id rather have sq ... but if the two models arent dramatically different in sound id rather go with the cheaper unit and b able to play mp3s... =\ can someone gimme some advice??

argh...it won't let me change the attachment on the first post...so here it is.
Differences: MP3 playback, colors, and sound eq. Personally I can't do w/o mp3s, so I'd go with that one.

but what it doesnt state is that the dxz935 also has a high pass crossover for front/rear/center ... and i think mp3's cut down the sq but to me i think its ok cause it offers way more songs on one disc and is faster to burn im still stuck =\

sonically, no...
the crossovers on most units arent all that good anyways.

also, i attest that with the right color combination of the 728 available on the 835, this unit CAN be seen in the daytime

so ludlam in your opinion the 835 would sound better than the 935 ?? even though they have different sound processors?? thanks for everyones input by the way

no, i dont know how the eq on the 935 is..

i do believe that the sq between the 2 probably wont be THAT different
