Motion sensor car alarm question...

I'm gonna buy a new security system for my car. The thing that I really want is an exterior motion sensor with the alarm. My car has be scratched up a bit a couple weeks ago, so i want something that will warn those little f**kers not to mess with my car. Anyways, does anyone have any info about this that will help me make my decision (range of the sensor, etc..)

Thanks

range is fully adjustable on them. the sensors are actually inside your car, but if yous et them to super sensitive they detect outside motion. the original purpose of these sensors is for convertibles, or if you leave your windows open a lot.

Sometimes these sensor will get very annoy and giving ppl more reasons to key your car...just make sure don't make it super sensitive.
its like once my friends and I went to see the fireworks, and there is this Cobra with a super sensitive alarm that will go off whenever a firework is fired....I mean its very annoying when u hear the alarm "echoing" the firework everytime for a full hour

I see you live in Canada, though i have never been there, im sure it probley rains alot being so close to Washington.
Do not get one if it rains alot!!!!

Smalll drops of water trickling down your wind sheild will set it off.

I had to disconnect mine because my alarm was going off way to much!!!

I have also fould problems with them if you have dark tints.

I install a lot of these, and my best suggestion would be to turn down the warn-away trigger, so it doesn't go off all of the time, but make sure the full trigger is set so if someone were to stick their arm in you r window it would go off.

Does the motion sensor have an easily accessible sensor switch?? or do i have to put alot of effort into changing the sensitivity? I just want it to be extra sensitive for when my car is parked at work. Other than that, i would lower the sensitivity.

I have a Matrix 3 alarm system with an interior motion sensor and this freaken alarm is annoying as hell. Its been going off constantly for no reason. Its a nice day, I just lock the car, all the windows are closed and then it goes off. Just make sure the people that installed it know what they're doing.
