Install Damage Hu?

i took my alpine cda9815 to get installed. next day noticed that there was no lead goin to the battery. manual looks like it needs direct line to bat with inline 20a fuse. i believe they wired it into an accesory fuse. anyone advise on this? i thought i remembered it drawin a lot of power so it needs direct line to bat

Yea there is suppost to be one to a costant power (dc power thing, horn,etc) and one to the battery with a fuse. They could of wired it up to the igniation too.That will work.

those are the same wire... its a yellow wire ... always is.... it requires constant power... if its not getting constant power then all ur settings are lost when the player is turned off... all the radio settings and all the eq settings...

the red wire (acc) wire is the one that should be wired to the ignition.
