fix old Pioneer HU ??

I have an old Pioneer HU kicking around. Its actually a really good one with a full spectrum display etc.. Its a double din made for GM / Dodge vehicles. You know the ones I mean. I have it from back in college when I had a Dodge Dakota.

Anyway it started giving me trouble as far as ejecting the cd. I assume its just the belt(s) or something. Got a bad spot in it maybe.

My question is what would it take to fix this thing ??? Can I order the parts and do it myself if I open it up ???

Probably not a DIY job, if you really want to fix it, take it into a tweeter or another local shop and have them send it out.

Yeah, I'd send it off if I were you...if you opened up the stereo, you'd just get to another casing around the cd player itself, and you never know what you'll find inside that. If you want it to stay working, it's probably not worth the risk.
