Owners manual. If you do not have one, go to Honda site. Download is free. Last time I was working on the arm rest latch of my 2007 Civic, I had taken the broke one off and was putting the inner cover on the underside wondering just how the spring went on the shaft. I am sitting there pondering and my grand son brings up a youtube of a guy putting it on in a video..Holds his iphone over on pause..like this gpaw. Spring winds this way with long leg up and on right side..

Must be a coupe. LED center light. Needs stripped apart and resolder the pins to the board (almost free if you have the time and tools).

If the light is the LED type, you have to remove the rear speaker shelf trim to access the light assembly.
