Exhaust newbie, how are G2 mufflers for our car?

I got a 2001 Civic EX Coupe, I'm just looking for a fairly cheap exhaust peice with an alright sound that can be easily installed, trying not to go over $100 for one, this G2 I can get for around $80.. any reccomendations for it or suggestions for another? Thanks.

If i were your two i would save up for a bit mopre and grab a Tanabe RSpec. Its one of the best out there and will outlast just about any aftermarket system out there. Its all stainless steel and wont rust wereas most of the othere catback systems only have the stainless steel muffler. It outperforms all the other systems out there(not by much keep in mind)

I agree. Save up and get something worthy of putting on your car. I have Tananbe R-Spec and I love it. It's not loud a lot (only when you downshift, then it sounds like 747 landing). Like the guy above said, its all stainless steel, it wont rust, and it's always shiny. Performance wise..ah...its D17, 'nuff said. Its your call, your OT at work and your money .

When it comes to my car, usually I do save the extra dough to get a product that I know is quality, but I know nothing about what makes an exhaust 'quality'. Is it the sound? HP addition? rust proofing? I just figured that they all add HP, make deep sounds, and for the most part stay shiny.. obviously I'm wrong but I'm trying to get one before my road trip to Miami and lack the serious funds to guy a $500+ exhaust, so what should I do?

seriously man save up and get the one you wont regret. I prefer and recomend the Tanabe RSpec but thats me. What makes a product quality is the R&D, the materials, the performance gains and from my standpoint and my research the Tanabe has them all. Im not saying its the ONLY one but from MY research its the best one for my needs.

I've heard the G2 muffler and it sounds good. Not ricey at all and its not like other exhuasts are gonna give a lot more hp.
