Increasing the speed
Increasing the speed
Ok I have seen alot about our car can not beat anything, including a big wheel. I am curios without dumping thousands into my car how can I make it run faster (Still street legal). I read alot about swapping engines and so forth, if I need to swap an engine I should have bought the car that the engine came from. I am not looking for the cheapest way to make the car faster let that be understood. I am also not looking to race my car(no nos), I just want more power under my hood. Dont get me wrong it would be nice to have nos but I am looking to replace stock items first.

Well, if you don't want to swap engines or run nitrous, your only other route would be Turbo.
There is no other option? I would just hate to swap an engine after the car is only a few months old. Is there anything else that would make the car go faster? I see alot about people getting new headers, exhaust. Sorry new to mods on my car next to exterior and interior. No Engine mods or exhaus. Well next to cai

Turbo my friend. Although there is something to be said for having a better than stock engine in your ride...If you drive an RSX TypeS then everyone knows your motor...If you drive a 2K1 + Vic with a TypeS motor then you surprise everyone....now that's fun!

I/H/E won't do crap for our cars but a few hp.......you might maybe get 10hp from all that crap. Turbo will get you about 60+hp
By the time you do I/H/E, pulleys, kms intake manifold, port/polish, deck, etc you could have turboed and gotten more power for the same amount of money.

the best thing you can do to 'speed up' your vic is improve your driving skills. of course anyone can punch the nitrous button in a straight line... but our car can rock at autocross or open tracking, so give that a try instead
