Tsudo N-1 EXTREME
Where can I get this exhaust system for a good price? I know that I can get it off of Ebay for $284.99, but that's still a little bit more than I'm willing to pay. Anyone know of a better source?
serious? 289? the last time i saw it was cheaper than that. Anyways... search a little more on Ebay. I think Ebay has the cheapest price. i saw an ads last time. It cost 400 plus shipping.
My friend has one of those on his 97 EX.
When we ordered we thought we were getting Apexi N1, because the ad listed it as N1 only. But when we got it, it said Greddy on it. It looks just like that one, maybe tip is lil' larger.
It serves him good though, and it is quite loouuuud, especially when VTEC engages.

no its probably not.
but I guess they just slap whatever name on it. lol.
or it could have been a GReddy muffler that they used to make the system. *shrug*

i have this system...looks and sounds pretty nice...i think fitment may be a problem for you tho...the muffler pipe doesnt seem like its bent enough to clear my swaybar it takes a bit of moving around but i got it moved far enough away from it so its not too much of a problem...i'll get under there and move it around some more when i get my turbo installed (which is why i got this system in the first place..its 2.5 inches)

Yeah, that's why I'm considering it too. Looks nice, sounds nice (as in it's list of features), and the price is right. Plus 2.5" would be good for the turbo.

Thanks dewd. Looks good. The piping doesn't fit up against the body of the car as much as I'de like it to though. Maybe one can adjust that by bending the hangers a little? Hmm...
I'm seriously considering this exhaust system though. Wait, is the muffler angled at all? I can't tell from the picture...

nope the muffler is pretty straight....i havnt tried bending the hangers any...but if it goes up any further the flange in the middle of the midpipe will be hitting the heat shield...
If you want the ANGLED cat back from Tsudo, go with the Fireball, not the N-1. I have that one. Nice aggressive racing look. Identical to the 5zigen Fireball and I definitely noticed decent gains after it was installed. Pretty loud in the low RPMs but get it up past 4K and it'll just hummmmmm along. I think both styles come with adjustable silencer if you're worried about noise. Had that on mine for a few days then took it off and never went back. Either style is good IMO. Nobody talks about Tsudo, but I found it to be the best bang for the buck as far as cat-backs go. Got mine for $313 off Nopi.com. $289 isn't bad.
I can't get the pics to come up for some reason, but go to www.mmrusa.com/tsudo.htm and check them out. I definitely noticed significant gains with this system. Reasearch it a little, find the best price, and enjoy!
I kinda figured that's what you meant. Sorry but no pics of my ride up right now. I'm waiting for some body work to get done before I take any pics of it. The Tsudo angles up and out and fits flush with the exhaust groove cut into the bottom bumper and it really looks tight at any angle on the 7th gens, IMO. I had never seen one before I got mine installed and I was really impressed with the look, the sound, and the performance all around. Best mod I've done so far. About to install an Injen SRI to see what that does. I hear the I/H/E combo is crucial to overall best performance, so I'm going that route. I'll post pics ASAP.

K3wl, thanks. Sounds good though. I thought that the N-1 style was angled, I guess I got the two styles mixed up. Sounds good though. I'de need pics before I purchased it though.

Hey, I just got the fireball style rear section installed today, my other rear section rusted to pieces (RACTIVE) and fell off...anyways, heres some pix, there not the best but something to judge by. I felt mild gain, well not really gain but smoother revs and acceleration. Its pretty loud and has a deep bass tone.

I understand that Tsudo is going to start using stainless for their entire catback. This according to thecivicstore.com. There's a few of the non-full stainless systems left, and I hear they'll sell 'em shipped for $300.
