MUGEN TWIN LOOP
i really like the sound of this exhaust. and i was wondering if anyone has this on their car or knows anything about this exhaust: pros and cons. I've found only one person selling this exhaust on Ebay, and it's not the genuine Mugen exhaust but i guess it might suffice. just wanna know if anyone has had experience with this exhaust. and if this isn't the exhaust to get, anyone know anything else that's similar to it or better.

oh btw, here's the ONE guy on Ebay selling it.
and here's a link to listen to the exhaust...

the second file is the best to hear what the exhaust sounds like. I want a deep sound from the exhaust but i dont like how the HKS kinda bumbles, rattles, and sorta isnt' very flowy, if you get what i mean. i like the SMOOTH and deep sound that the Mugen twin loop gives out.
anyway, appreciate any help.

Pro
It's Mugen
Its free flowing and can add power
Con
$500 for a rear section
$1200 for a full cat back
It must be modified to fit our cars
The DC TCS is the same concept.

OUCH!!!
1200!?! jeezus. why must the dopest things be the most expensive.
actually,...if i got the Mugen twin loop muffler off ebay for 250 shipped. woudln't i only need a custom piping to lead to the muffler? doesnt' seem like it would cost THAT much at a local muffler shop. hm...i'm gonna find that out. cuz really, it's just a pipe that needs to be altered so that it aligns with the Mugen muffler right? ahh....i dunno. lol.
is there another exhaust that sounds exactly like the mugen?

The DC Sports TCS sounds almost like it. That's the one I have and I love the deep, smooth sound it produces. The Mugen sounds a litlle better though. i would like to get that one if I ever get tired of my TCS

The one on ebay is a mugen style, like gotti said. Meaning they copied the style and will probably not have the same gains.

er. dont get that 225 axel back.
thats a rip.
u can buy the muffler for around 80-100 shipped.. and just have it done at a muffler shop for another 60, then you get an axel back for 160... not 250

I have the mugen style twin loop muffler on my car, it sounds pretty good, deep but not loud. I like it. It's copied from exact original mugen muffler, even the inside material. but, CapYoda, where can we just get the muffler for 80-100 shiped? I might get one more for my friend's car.

. i don't get it. i tot that with the additional loop, it would cut down on the HP. i tot that performance mufflers tend to be straight through without the additional loop. correct me if i'm wrong.

Resurected, yeah. I love those videoclips - that thing sounds BAD ***! What sort of modifications are required to fit our car?? I'd be up for that exhaust since it sounds so good - and is proven for gains!
