Arrow lip kit ride heights..please help.

so i'm lookin at lip kits. i'm wondering how much lower my car will be to the ground. right now my car is dropped about 2 - 2.25 on stock wheels and i need to be cautious going up driveways, bumps and such. if i were to get the aero kit or equivalent, how much lower will my body be to the ground. lets say i have 4-5 inches of clearance at most right now. thanks for any input.

My OEM lip doesn't lower my car very much. Maybe like an inch but not really.. You probably won't have to be much more cautious then you are now, unless other lip kits are lower then others! Hope this helps!
I don't know if you've already chosen a lip kit yet but the Kaminari looks pretty nice!

yeah i love everything about the kaminari except the rear. i don;t like most kits' rears cuz they are all made to accompany dual exhaust. thats why i'm liking the oem alittle better. maybe kaminari front and side, and oem rear or somethin. but thanks

I only had a 1 inch drop and my OEM lip would still drag in certain steep droveways or deep gutters. I think it was just about 4 inches clearance at the front.

Im gettin my kaminari lip kit put in this week so pm me after this week n i'll tell you how its clearance is like. But kaminari rear isnt for a dual exhaust, there is only one slot that has a slot for the exhaust.

Yep, the Kaminari rear is made for one. It can be modified very little to make it fit dual.

but the two vertical thingies divide the bumper. to me it would looks better with dual exhaust. it almost looks like it's made for dual exhaust. you know what i'm sayin? i'd rather have a single cutaway section on the right side of the bumper for my muffler. i swear the kaminari bumper looks like has two cutaway spaces for dual exhaust...

I have the kaminari lip kit. I have 17's and the car is dropped with Goldlines. I am 4 inches exactly off the ground. Reytito, even it you got some 18's you wouldn't be able to drive it out of the parking lot of the body shop. My kit is hella low and i have to be carefull everywhere i go.

reytito: I understand what you were saying about the rear and how it would look for dual exhaust. I see what you mean.

2k2civicRAY: Do you have aftermarket shocks?

I don't like most rear bumpers either because IMO also, they look like they are for dual exhaust.. Theres a 7th gen Issani in my town with dual exhaust and I don't really like the look of it!

I need to find a rear bumper still, but its hard since they all look like they are for dual.
I wasnt a simple look with my Kaminari Front Fascia so I was thinking the Buddy Club 2 rear bumper!

well let me put in my 2 cents...

the oem kit does not make your car any lower than it is...just looks lower...

the kaminari will make it slightly lower...maybe 1 or 2 inches lower?? so you might have problems if you dropped your car too low...

The OEM kit doesn't drop the heigth on your car. All it does is make the body sides go straight down instead of curving inand gives the illusion of a lower car. I lowered my car using the Ground Control coil over kit and when i finally got the OEM kit, my ground clearance didn't change(I measured).

Yup, I was just about to say the same thing (for the Aero sides and OEM rear). Not too sure about the OEM front though. I don't think the OEM front is lowered, but if it is, it's at most an inch. I haven't dropped my car yet, so I can't say anything about scraping while going over bumps or steep driveways.

I'm pretty sure other body kits (like SkiLLzSter said) will make it lower by about an inch or so.
