High temp black coating header?

High temp black coating header?
How is the high temp black coating kamikaze header from bigjoshracing.com. Is that header just as good as ceramic or chrome? Also will there 02 simulator that is universal work with our cars?

Ok, here it is. I just got dont putting my STOCK exhaust manifold back on cuz i had on a brand new kamikaze "high temp" black header. it sucks. it sounded like ****, we were spraying the bolts with lube and accidentally got some on the header. i went to wipe it off and the high temp paint came off like nothing. i then sratched it and it came off again. and as for the o2 sensors one of them will get fryed. i didnt notice until after i put the header on. we taped and taped and put all kinds of coating with tape and plastic on. it melted through all of it except for the last layer. good thing i took the header off in time. i only had mine on for one day. i hated it. and your check engine light will be on as well. unless you wanna become a ricer with a melted o2 sensor and fake high temp black header. go for it. Im gettin my money back later today so im straight on that shiiiiit. good luck homie
dude the kamikaze headr is sweet. dont bash it. it sounds like you half-assed your install anyway. as far as your engine light being on, get a freakin o2 simulator....PROBLEM FIXED. and as far the coating...yes the high temp black coating is cheezy...it eventually burns off. but it is more affordable to et the black coated header from kamikaze. but once again problem can be fixed. ever heard of JET HOT?? get it jet hot coated, reduces temperature, increases flow, garunteed for life, and looks good. it cost about 160 for sterling silver and about 185 for brillant blue. coating fixed. they coat the inside and outside of the header. so quit bashing the kamikaze header. its no point to do something if you arent going to do it right the first time.

Rep Power: 305 aight lemme put my 2 cents in on the header deal.. i got a APC headers and i have zero complaints, sounds awesome and power is about the best i can ask for. yes it is a bit pricy but i like it.. i think i might be the only one..

the performance was actually pretty good. i felt a lil boost from 35k. the gain was good. just the sound was shitty for me but thats maybe cuz it was a straight pipe and my exhaust...

The black coating on the headers is just that, a black coating, if you spill brake cleaner or fluid on it chances are it will be eaten away, but good thing for black, just buy some hi temp paint from pep boys touch it up. Alot of guys scratch there headers or have rock dings, black is the easiest way to have a header if your not planning on being in a car show, if you scratch ceramic it stays scratched, same with chrome. Headers, regardless of whos brand wont make your car sound any diff. then it does now. The headers just allow more air to flow, bottom line you get a crappy sound if you have a crappy exhaust, sometimes shopping for the best deal and getting the 30.00 OBX muffler, ends up with a 30.00 Sound.
