Blitz Air Filter
Today I noticed that the rubber neck on my K&N filter for my AEM intake was ripped so I need a new filter. I really want to try the Blitz Air Filter but can not find a place to buy just the filter. Does anyone know where I could buy this filter? thanks a lot in advance.
check this out. Summit racing has them don't know what size you need.

so you just want to order the blitz metal air filter charger right? if so just go to www.showstoppersusa.com and see if they got it on the site . if not listed, call (818) 243-0954 and ask for chucky. he can get it and help you out with the adapter kit you might need to put it on your AEM. tell him matt sent you. hope that helped homie. lates
cotton probably filters best, more particles get inside your engine is definetely bad, k&n all the way, and no, no matter what filter you have on a sri, you cannot be producing much horsepower as an cai. 1st off cold air is better, and if you read cold air intakes only drop 1/2 hp or less from stop light to stop light comparing to sri's dropping 1-3. Cold air for civics (injen) works kind of like ram air too. so sri's are just a waste.

heh the cold air is always better is a gimmick.
thats hardly always the case. cold air intake is a north america "innovation" its hardly as crank up the manufactures claim it to be...
I'm saying if the Biltz filter is only all mesh metal... and has no filter element besides that.. then it wont be filtering as much.
I think the best filtering is paper. but it doesn't last and can't be reusable.. cotton filters better than foam, but foam flows more I believe. or could be the other way around. memory is bad.

yeah thats another expensive filter.
u know er... for ur civic.. a K&N one will work fine.
u dont need anything high end really.. just something that flows decent, filters decent.. and has some practical value in that it can be reuse.

juss save yourself the trouble time and money.. and get k&n, it has the most respectable name, its reusuable, aem and injen use their filters as well. Paper element filters are good too, but are kind of restrictive towards max airflow, foam is good, the fibers are very small so it helps trap in particles, but ever think of it gettin wet? its gonna be there till you clean it, so cotton to me is the best cuz it dries up too.
