Hey. All you people with exhaust, I got a question. What exhaust system would give me the most bang for the buck? I am just starting with tuning my car. I got the 2001 coupe. Any suggestions, points, and sites to help would be greatly helpful. Thread Starter

Now that my question is sort of answered, what brand? I have heard mixed feelings about all. Buddy Club spec 3? Greddy Evo? DC Sports TCS? Let me know and how you feel about. Any clips of cars with the type of exhaust would help to. Thanks.

There used to be sound clips under of these topics for most of the exhaust, I dont think they transfered over with the new site. IF you want loud and good quality go with Tanabe, or if you want quality sound go with the TCS.

You want great sounds, performance and quality go with the Tanabe RSpec. try a search youll find a ton if info on it. Its the best on the market for our cars and gives the best Hp and torque gain.
Hmmm...BANG FOR THE BUCK??? Sounds familiar cuz' that's exactly what I was looking for. And despite what everyone will say (including the entire Tanabe family), if you want a great SOUND and a honest to god NOTICABLE KICK, check out the Tsudo Fireball Cat-Back. Found it for $299 on Nopi.com. No joke, I was utterly impressed. I've heard all about all the major names (Greddy, 5zigen, Apexi,etc...) but just didn't have the big cash to throw down. Tsudo is totally affordable and well worth it. Best mod I've made to my car hands down. And I've gotten all kinds of compliments on it's nice deep sound. Angled slant for an aggressive look and even comes with an adjustable silencer if ya don't feel like getting too much attention. But then, what's the point? Ha ha, no kidding, check it out.
GReddy is a very good exhaust. Deep, low sound that doesn't get crappy at high RPM's. I have heard clips of Tanabe and I like that one too but the chance popped up where I could get a $500 exhaust for $200. Hince I am part of the GReddy family!!! I still want to hear your exhaust RedDragon333!!!
i would get hks hiper..its only an axle back but they claim it performed as well as the other catbacks if not better. nice deep sound and it doesnt get raspy. i can't really say anything about the other catbacks since i've never had them, but i like hks very much

installing mine tomorrow or very soon with aftermarket downpipe...hope it sounds good. I'll make a clip if i have time. Thermal R&D makes both the rear axle back and a full catback and it's one of less heard but really good brands out there. Registered!!
