type RS lip lit install HELP!!!
hi,
I just got type RS lip kits. (looks like oem sedan kits)
The material is ABS.
I am trying to gather information concerning installing of the kit.
I have PDF instructions for installing 2DR lips kit, but it might be different fomr 4DR.
People, please give me all information you know, comment on ABS, comment on how to install, comment on issue I should worry and care...
thanks a lot!
I will make a DIy with all information you give!
thanks!!

its easy. the coupe instructions should basically cover it, but the sedan side skirts bolt into a different place, i believe. ABS plastic is one of the easiest things to put on because it bends.
i bought the spw type (r/rs)...
front lip - should just screw right on, there should be 2 screws on each side (behind front bumper in front of the tires). you could use adhesive if you want.
sideskirts - there are two front screws on each side (im guessing where the mudgaurds go?) and then there is the one in the back (a clamp) that is a pain in the a$$ to put on. the rear end of the sideskirt is only clamped on (not screwed) because there is a gap in the back where the screw goes. if you like to use adhesive you can, also you can drill holes on the bottom panel and screw the rest of the stuff they give you (bolts, metal plates, etc.). for mine, i just used adhesive and bolted the metal plates on the push the skirts down so that every time i open the door it wont hit the skirts.
rear lip - just the the front lip, except the screws go behind the tires in front of the rear bumper. you may use adhesive.

you can get the lip kit at www.customauto.ca. they usually go for around $240-$350. i got mine for $240 at a local import shop.
