I will soon be getting an entire performance exhaust system on my 2002 civic Ex. Anyone have suggestions?

Thank you both for your input. I just wanted some initial impressions. I think I'll do like you said and do some research.

Tanabe is the best when it comes to performance gains in HP and torque. Its been dyno proven to provide the best results for our cars. It looks good and it sounds deep throaty and its all stainless steel resulting in a longer life then the other catback systems mentioned. Any questions, hit me or Fly or any other of the Tanabe family members on here

i love the amount of proof and validity your statement brings. It truely does no good in helping a fellow member make an educated choice. The Tanabe family might show up at every exhaust thread but at least most of us have a reason for our post.

Well to bad the best on the mrkt right now is the buddy club its the lightest and has the least amount of bends. Hate to break it to you.
Now i am not saying tanabe is not good but they did get beat this year and i am sure that they will come out with something better.

While i'm sure Tanabe has the highest power gains for our cars, is'nt it also the loudest?

I mean most guys don't mind, and I can't say for sure that I have personally been in a civic with one, but I hear its loud.

on scale of 1 - 20, 1 being stock and 20 being no muffler at all, what would you Tanabe boys rate it at with regards to noise volume.

Also, are you guys talkin bout a full cat-back system, or just the muffler.

I have the full cat-back Tanabe R-Spec.

On a scale of 1 to 20 I would rate the Tanabe a 14. The Tanabe has a low, deep rumble.

I feel that the Apexi N1 is about an 18. It's just loud and nasty.
