MOMO *****
Anyone know if the MOMO shift **** will fit on Civic?
Cuz Civic shifter stick gets wider below the thread. I wonder....
By the way, would an EX shifter boot clip right onto the Si leather shift ****?

Good lord, I missed this **** on the WRX
So it will still fit with Revo SS, right? I am thinking about cutting the shifter boot ring off, then shove the top of the boot into the buttom of the shift ****, which is twisted onto the top portion of the shift ****.

Yes it will fit. I have the REVO SS. I took off the grey boot ring and just used a ZIP tie to hold it up.

Go to Subydude to order your momo ****. I think he sells for $74.00 I got Air Race Leather before on WRX, but I got it on Ebay for $78 shipped. Here you save a few bucks.
oh and I got my windows including full windshield tinted for $190. I had limo tint before for $100 bucks with windshield strip only. Most shops charge from $120-150 for legal normal tint. So you get an idea of how much you should bargain.

There it is...
$76 from www.obbnmotorworks.com
The boot is a MOMO Performance, which screws into the finisher threads on the bottom of the **** making the transition seamless. The boot does have to be cut to fit the tabs in the console, but it's pretty easy to do. It also makes the shifter about 1" shorter because you can push the **** all the way down the lever to the top of the ****, and it's shorter than the stock turkey neck shift ****.

No... that's the stock lever. Some of it is the photo angle playing tricks... it's about 1" shorter than it would be with the stock **** screwed in.

Random Question:
Is there any way to remove the plastic piece/s from the base of the shift assembly so that the boot will sit a little lower & look nicer not waded up so much? Kinda like on the more expensive/sportier cars like WRX, RSX etc... Has anyone tryed removing this? I really dont like the look of it & think it would look alot better without it. What do yall think?

You could trim them off... I wouldn't completely remove them because they're holding the boot in place. The boot presses between those things and the silver ring. I wouldn't cut those below the ring. I know the stock boot is stapled in, if you keep it that way then you can probably pull it off with no problems... but if you change the boot and don't staple it (like me) then you can't do it. It doesn't really bother me that much.
