Question Tanabe, Skunk, or Greddy exhaust

Right now, I just have an aftermarket muffler thrown on my car,
I couldn't stand the pea shooter look from the stock one. Anyway, I wanted
to go with a full catback, looking for mostly loud sound, but high power gains
as well. Between the Tanabe Race Medallion, skunk 2, and the Greddy Evo
exhaust systems, which would you recommend to get? Also, do you know
who has the best price for full catback systems?

tanabe and skunk2 are gonna give you the loud sound. Greddy is low and deep. thats what i have, but i've heard its pretty loud if you have a header.

HP or racing medallion? The only reason I'm staying away from Tanabe is that
I have to get a $150 adapter since I have an LX

sometimes people say the greddy rusts and then the people that actually own it never mention it. sooooooooo, what's the deal? does it?

edit: and even though the "exhaust clips" are KIIIIINDA helpful, the recording always distorts what they really sound like. i wouldn't base my decision entirely on that...

I got bombarded with Tanabe recommendations! I heard about Greddy rusting
too, does Tanabe rust? The muffler I have on there is already starting to rust,
which looks ugly. Also, it's just a muffler, and it's quiet as hell...even without
the silencer. You think if I throw in some headers, will it make my MUFFLER louder,
or should I just take the $ and get a full catback, then headers?

The Tanabe is full stainless steel cat-back system. The piping and muffler is ALL stainless steel. It will NEVER rust!!!!

You can't throw on headers. our Civic's only have ONE "header".

i'd have to say the greddy is nicer, i like how it looks, the tanabe looks bah ... i don't like how it looks. Greddy isn't loud and even with a header, its not bad. i like the deep low growl it makes when you gun it. in my opinion i'd have to go with greddy

RedDragon333 will become famous soon enough
Tanabe has the looks, the performance ands the sound. You wont be dissapointed. ITs the best out there and gives you the best gains in torque and HP, dyno proven. Why go for anything less?

ima have to disagree, the Tanabe has a low throaty tone, its gets loud but still deep after 4thgear, bnut its not a high pitched sound.

I would recommend the Tanabe, my boyfriend has it on his car. Make sure you can fit other parts on later with the exhaust too. My example: I have a Thermal R & D exhaust, put on a Progress rear sway bar and they touched. I had to take it in to have the tubing adjusted. I think the DC Sports TCS is the only one that people say really is hard to fit other things with. Tanabe my opinion.

I'd go with GReddy. Tanabe is nice, but everyone and they mama has it. J/K. Anyways, it depends what you want. Like ppl say the GReddy is the canister look which I also like, but Tanabe is louder if thats what you're looking for.

As for the pipes rusting on the GReddy, it will take 3+ years for the piping to rust all the way through. And if you take into consideration the stainless still pipings, they might get holes after 3 years. DOnt tell me that stainless steel is totally rust/weather proof. Ever notice those cars that sound all loud becuase their exhaust system is messed up or has holes??

But yea, GReddy is not stainless steel piping but Tanabe is. GReddy is the canister look while tanabe has a smaller can. BUt as for loudness, tanabe is louder. And as for Tanabe getting the best gains, I have my doubts. THey are all about the same becuase our car doesnt really respond to mods.
