A little question??????

Okay I was reading import tuner and I noticed (to my dismay) that a company has come out with a bolt-on turbo kit for the Focus....now doesn't that car also use a returnless fuel sysytem. If I am not mistaken they were the first car to use it. But anyway.....I thought this was one of the main problems in applying forced induction to our cars???? If they can work around Fords Returnless fuel system why can't they do if for us.....damn I'm pissed!!!!

If I call remember correctlly, the RSX has a couple of turbo systems out and they have the same fuel system as us...I think the size of our engine bay is one of the biggest problems. Correct me if Im wrong ..

forced induction

anyways. there are people with custom turbos out there, wouldn't they have solved that problem already. obviously the parts won't be the same, but they could custom make one for the d17. all the companies are working on the rsx and the new si right now because it's obvious that the d17 has no hope. not unless you've got bukoo bucks to throw at it.

The focus has more potential than the D17. i believe they use the same 2.0L engine in all models, and it can have 130hp or 170hp. the fact that their displacement is larger and there is more room in the engine bay makes the focus a better candidate for a turbo than the d17. I am sure people will figure out ways around everything. I mean there will be someone with a Supercharger one day!
