Aftermarket Seats
well my @ss cant take my stock seats anymore and i need new seats.
ive been doing some research and people have been reccomending
the 2003 civic si seats. which i think is pretty comfortable.
then there are the corbeau cr1 and the Sparco Torinos ive never have sat in these before.
ive been considering teh rsx-s seats too. but id think id look weird in my sedan.
can anyone give me some personal insight on this? best bang for the buck.

Can't go wrong with EP seats!!! I love mine. Very comfortable. I'll be going on a 4 hour trip in two weeks, so I'll tell you how they do on the long rides after I get back.

i got Tenzos with brackets and sliders for 600.00 shipped from cdm motorsports tell him Zak sent you. I love them, you might hear about them fading but if you take care of them and tint windows youll be fine, thay fade just like any other fabric with direct sunlight does.

Haha, is it just me or am I the only one that likes the Sparco Evo series... I love those seats, they just look cool, anyone have them?? Put pics up if you do...
Are aftermarket racing seats, like sparco or corbeau even comfortable they look kinda wierd to sit in for long periods of time, but for just driving to the store or lookin pimp I would see it...

fly's tenzo's are nice. I think the tenzo type R seats would look good ing the sedan...or if you don't mind losing the reclining option....the sparco fighter is a bad *** seat

I think the Corbeau CR1s are comfortable! They mold to the contour of your body after a few minutes. If you a 36 waist or smaller the standard are comfortable & look super hot! If you are a 38 waist+ pay the extra 15% for the wider seat & the CR1 will be a wet dream!
These are also reclinable!
Also, I will hook up any member of this forum with a pair of CR1s, brackets/sliders & shipping anywhere in the 48 states for $860! That is the GB price for the forum exclusively! The site is:
www.dezod.com
the coupon code is: 7thgencorbeau
Have fun!

the cr1's are nice! had them for almost a year now and they are still in good shape. no wear or fading what so ever. if anyone in the bay wants to know what they feel like, pm and we can meet somewhere.
damn those look clean fly. I want some, but I am hesitant because I have some questions. How hard were they to install? how do they fit in the 7thgen as far as daily driving around and if they sit higher, or lower in the seat than the OEM ones? And finally, where did you get them from again and how much?
Tell me what you don't like about yourself....

Here is what came with my order:
- 2 Tenzo Rally Black/Grey Seats(Driver&Passenger)
- 2 Pair of Universal Sliders
- 2 Brackets made special for our 7thgens
- 2 Pair of Tenzo Shoulder Pads(FREE)
- 1 Pair of Tenzo CF Door Sills(FREE)
Total Cost: $580 Shipped
Info about Installation:
The Sliders attach to the seat. Then the Brackets attach to the sliders. The passenger seat will install perfectly. The Driver seat will take a little work. ShdayMilkMan and I both had problems with our Tenzo seats on the Driver side. The front left mounting point(closest to the trunk pop) is off by about half and inch. All you have to do is take a rattail file(otherwise known as a bastard file) and make the inside of the hole a little bit bigger. Then it will bolt in fine with no problems. Its very sturdy, no rocking and I feel very safe in them.
More Info about the seats:
I am a waist size 38 and I fit real snug into the seats. You can't just slide out of the car like you could with stock seats. You actually have to lift your leg over the seat to get out. The Tenzo sits about 2-3 inches lower than stock seats. The Tenzo's can also slide back much farther than stock seats. My Tenzo's can literally be slid back until they touch the back seat!!!

sweet! a fellow "larger size" guy
hehehe
I too am a size 38 waist...I won't go into details about my weight, but shizit! I'm glad they fit!!!
I was a little bit worried about them being too small, or that I wouldn't have leg room anymore (6'2")...but this is great! nice pics FlyRiceRacer02, and thanks for the info!
