Exclamation What Exhaust??????

Trying to Decide what exhaust to buy for my car. Stuck between Three...the new Tanabe Super Racing M. , Apexi GT SPEC, or the HKS hi. Power(rear section Only). I found the Tanabe for around $550, the Apexi for around $600 and the HKS is only $235. Which is the way to go....IN Terms of HP and Torque???

Yep, Tanabe rules!

You can get the Tanabe from www.first-1.com for around $480 shipped.

most people are going to tell you to get what they have on their car.....so i am going to be like most people and say hks...only b/c i have it..it sounds good,,and looks good too
go with hks and maybe get custom piping or do like panda and get a resonator from jc whitney

Project2k2 is on a distinguished road
I'd get Tanabe myself if you are looking for HP gains. Is not then go with the HKS for money purposes.

Tanabe ownz, i love it, most HP and torque gains for our cars (been dynoed) it looks damn good and its all stainless steel so it will outlast any others that just the muffler is stainless steel. It has the most straight through design allowing for better gains. If your curious to see exhaust on a 7thgen look in my pics. Well worth the money you wont be dissapointed. The sound is deep and throaty and gives a nice hummm on the freeway!

You guys think the Tanabe would still be better even if I buy Apexi GT SPEC Headers? Would the headers with THE GT SPEC exhaust together make a better combo than the Tanabe w/GT spec headers? What are really good headers right now for our cars..Mugen, Apexi ???? Thanks guys

I know that a WRX is not a civic..but..the HKS exhaust dynoed on a WRX gave like 12 hp's. But the civic application is only the rear section anyway, I wonder if the gains would be similar? Does anyone have a Tanabe sound clip??

fly had them but i think the link is broken and i hope your not planning on getting the same gains as a turboed WRX, the Tanabe dynoed to provide the most gains in torque in Hp you wont be dissapointed

I might've missed it somewhere on this forum, but how much are we talking about in terms of HP & TQ gain on Tanabe R-Spec ?

Out of those choices, get a Tanabe. I have heard nothing but good comments about it. I have a GReddy and love it but Tanabe would be awesome to have also.
