Hey guys,
I was wondering if there was any noise or sound produced when an aftermarket Header such as Kamekazi (sp?) is installed on a car. I was thinking of getting the Kamekazi header for my car. However I don't know what kind of sound (if any) it will make when it's on. Yeah I have heard that this Header is also illegal because it eliminates something. Tho I don't remember what that is. Can anyone that has this Header tell me about the noise factor?
Thanks.
I have a Civic LX 2001. Is there any better/legal header for my car/ I know that most of the headers I found for the EX only. I wanted to get the DC header myself but I called them and they said that they have nothing in the works and may never have anything for the DX/LX. Anyway...

tube size does affect noise.. but generally swapping out a header doesn't affect noise level much.
i would think the kamikaze with the downpipe for the LX will increase noise level a bit, since it removes the stock cat convertor.

Noise level shouldn't be affected unless you replace the cat, mess with the resonator near the muffler, or most importantly, the muffler itself.. You wouldn't be able to hear the difference with a top portion header anyway.
