Rep Power: 0 Blue Tint On M3s
I have these mirrors and just waiting to have them installed. One of my friends said one of his friends got these mirrors and after awhile the blue tint started coming off has anyone else ever had a problem with this?

Rep Power: 310 The tints that come with those mirrors were probably Autozone tints, that they put on themselves (the company who made the mirrors). it's basically just a clear film. High quality mirrors are either manufactured blue, or coated with blue.
He's talking about m3 mirrors you can replace oems with. Some members have them. I dunno if they all come with tints:
"anti-dazzle"!!!

Rep Power: 0 Wait, are you sure it was supposed to be blue tinted.. or is the thing that is peeling is really a packaging film....
because i purchased replacement mirrors before and they came with a light blue film on it which really is for prevent it from scratched when it's being installed and shipped... you're supposed to peel it off afer it's installed.

Rep Power: 364 The "film" you are refering is for anti-glare. If its your friend's friends' friends' friend's are peeling, he got himself some cheapies..
On a good manufactured pair, you shouldn't be able to tell there is a "film" over it.
