HOOD PINS!!
hey guys, i was wondering if ne one had hood pins? i was looking through the rides, and couldnt find that many...the reason i ask is 'casue my hood goes all crazy when i drive on the freeway...kinda scared it might fly off one of these days. i mean it holds pretty well, but then you never knoW!! i was reading a forum in the south cali section, and some guys hood juss flew off.... but then again i duno how they would look on my car [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG] juss wanted to see the variety of pins out there...ive seen the sparco ones, and the hood locks...are there black pins? so they cant be noticed as much?? hmm let me Know what you guys think

i could sell you mine, they are red. if you want them black just sand them down and use some black spray paint and clear coat it a couple of times. that is how they paint them when you purchase them. $10 shipped and they are yours. just let me know if you are interested.

Rep Power: 0 How come aftermarket hoods, Ie CF hoods, don't stay down like stock hoods? THey fit like stock and everything??? I'm confused on this one. Stock hoods don't use hoodpins.....[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 yeaa i have some crazy light hood. some friends of mine have hoods, but theyre pretty heavy..when they drop the hood it locks in place..on mine, i would have to push it on...i have some light *** hood! i guess kinda good and kinda bad....but yea, stock hoods are HEAVY! haha like 40-50 pounds, and win cant lift that up..cf hoods are like 10 lbs...and plus there is only the Hood LAtch that holds it down...
