I just bid on some eyelids, and i only have one question. What the hell holds them on??

OMG, I was looking last night and almost bid on some, but I e-mailed the seller to ask that very same question. He hasn't replied back yet though, but I'm assuming, like the man said, 3M tape. THat's kinda lame, I think, but whatever.

Also, I've seen different styles of eyelids, some really thin and narrow, others fat and wide. I think the fat ones would look better, IMO

For our cars double stick tape. Trust me it will hold! I have them on my car and they haven't fallen off yet, so if you do it right htey won't come off. Some cars have ones that screw in on the top headlight holder bolt.

I have to take mine to the dry cleaners. Can't take it through the car wash.

I got the eyelids from ProCarparts off Ebay for $10.50. When they arrived there was a Type R grill in the box instead. So I emailed ProCarparts and told them. Then they shipped me some more eyelids and said they would send me a return label for the grill.

I guess I shoulda sold the grill and just made some money cause they sell for way more than $10.50, but since I'm an honest guy. .... ...... ..... But I still don't have any eyelids. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/IMG]

They should make eyelids that hold on to the hood or something. It seems like a lot of stuff on our civics are being held on with tape. You can't get that much tackier than tape.
