Hey if you guys want lambo doors, I can get them for you. I just Purchased the DECah kit and i can save you a few bucks on that kit. With slight mods it will fit your cars. I am actually thinking about remaking them at a far cheaper price.

The kit is patented but just as long as you change a few things on it it is ok, at least to my understanding.
And i can't show you a pic of the hindges but they are huge and weigh a ton.

You better read the patent real closely before you start messing with stuff. You would have to modify it enough to get your knockoff it outside the description outlined in the patent. Just changing a few stupid little things is still infringing on the patent.

Essentially, you are probably going to have to design an entire new hinge that does the same thing.

2 questions

1 are deckas kits hydraulic ie you open them some they open the rest themselve as in real verticle doors?

2 how ez is it to adapt them to remote opening?

The shock on them is so stiff that it should open the door but only after you push the door out and up half way. I have a body and customizing guy next to me and he says that putting a door popper wont work. Until we put them on we won't know.

I have a real kit that is made just for the 2k1 civic and up. This kit was made by street dreams and they made it custom for my car and now i can get them made for anyone that wants it. The kit ciomes with everythig you could need and it makes the doors go straight up not like the decah kit that makes the doors go up at an angle. The kit i have is for sale and it is being put on my car step by step but since i work all of the time i can't get it done quick enough. But if any of you live in the new england area you can see my car at the Import Showcase in Boston, Mass. with the lambo doors. The kit i'm selling goes for $1,000.00 and comes with everything you need. Also i am shaving my door handles and it will work fine. The gas shocks i have will help open the door and lock it in place when you want it open. the shocks that decah.net just basiclly lock in place and won't help you open the doors untill the gas shock kicks in and by then the door is already up. Hey I know the guy Ross over at street dreams and he says that he could get them to work possibly but with major mods to the vehicle and their door hindge. I will cost you more to do it that way then the correct way. And those door hingdes are like $625 shipped for their best kit
