4 Point Racing Harness
I am looking at getting the
SPARCO 2 INCH SEAT BELT: 4 POINT W/ CAMLOCK (BLUE) to go with my Tenzo Rally seats.
For those of you with belts like this how did you fix the wiring so that your SRS light won't stay on. Is there a way to bypass the feature? Also, where did you attach the ends of your harness to the car?
Yes, I know it's illegal for most of you all, but SC has some of the most slack laws in the country. I haven't heard of anyone getting in trouble down here for their belts.
Thanks for your help.

I remember reading in another forum that it is EXTREMELY dangerous to get a harness without a roll cage. I think it was something about not allowing your head to
go foward in case your car rolls over. I'm not quite sure about the details but just lookin out for ya

This DIY maybe is what you are looking for. It could work for different seat belts I think but the belts are nice, I am going for those......right after I get some seats....and some more money
However, many people believe this to be bad practice as the safety harness will not allow your body to slide out of the way in case the roof caves in during a roll over. If you roll and the roof collapses, and you are firmly strapped into your seat without a roll bar, well then your head will have to support the weight of the car, since nothing else will. It is because of this that it is generally recommended to install a safety harness (2" or 3") only if you have a roll bar or cage.
about the SRS light..... do you have side airbags? i'm not sure but i don't think you'll get an SRS light for taking out your seats (cept for the side airbag issue).
were you talking about the seat belt light?

I have been told by Reddragon333 that if you unhook the mechanism that locks the seatbelt, the part that catches when you slam on the brakes. If you unhook it the SRS light will come on.
I just didn't know if there was a way to bypass it and make it think that it is still connected.
its simple..if your brackets didnt come with a OEM seatbelt mount i guess you have to figaure out another way but i got the wedge engineering brackets and you simply leave ur car off first...unplug the the connectors under ur seat and unbolt the whole seat belt thing...and bolt back on to your bracket...now plug everything back in and only your seat belt light will be on..telling you to buckle up...as for you 4 point harness i also have the sparco 4 point harness with my sparco sprint...but i didnt drill it in i did it weridly
