Could be multi-faceted reflector lights. Some fog and driving lights have that and will look iridescent when they aren't on.

My boy has these on his 98 Civic. They are made with a special oil like film on them to give the multi color look to the them. They currently don't make them for our cars.

I passed a BMW 735 last night and the farther away I got, the darker blue the lights looked.

The headlight lense is actually dipped in an oil like substance, giving it an oilslick like pattern on the lense. Thus giving off a "color changing" oilslick like light.

i think i know what you're talking about. is the light emitted from the bulb mostly green? and when you look at other angles its like a rainbow effect??? if it is, you should be able to pick up these bulbs at a local auto parts store. i believe i have seen them at PeP Boys before. hope this helps

I know wut you're talking about but I dont think that's what he means. There was a post about these headlights about a week ago. They plastic on the headlights themselves have a sort of oil looking tint to them which gives off a rainbow sort of look. Unfortunately I can't find that post from last week.. sorry

I'm referring to the whole headlamp assembly

For the last time, we don't think he is talking about bulbs! It is the entire headlight assembly.

I saw the black headlight assembly that has that affect

on a 2000 blue si... it was amazing looking. I would be

very interested in them for our car... but dont know how

they would look on a red car
