Zex/Nx/Nos????

Zex/Nx/Nos????.......which of these companies N20 systems do you prefer. I was like so set on getting the NX kit and now I have been looking in member rides and noticing alot of Zex kits, there were also a couple of NOS kits as well. I was wondering what the deciding factor was for these people who bought these kits was. I am interested in the Zex kit now, it seems like instalation is quicker(cheaper), and it keeps the engine bay clean. Let me know what your guys opinions are and which system you like the best and why. Thanks for the Feedback fellas.

Depends on what you wanna do, IMO the brands are pretty much all are the same. If you're getting the nitrous kit though, remember that it's just a poor man's forced induction, and to prepare your engine accordingly. Also, be ready with a new clutch, because your old one will wear out pretty quick.
I would personally not recommend getting a nitrous system over 50% of your engine's specs if it's stock, because you run the risk of blowing your motor, which in the automotive world is known as a "bad thing".

Zex kits suck for a couple of reasons. Mainly because it can not be upgraded at a later date. You are stucj with what you bought. No making it a wet kit, no adding flow control ECUs and what not. On top of that, fixing a single part is not easy if something goes wrong with it, because its all enclosed in 1 box.

This, however is the rerason why ricers gravatate towards the kit. Its very simple to install. Probably the eaisest of any kit out there.. then again If you dont know what you are doing in the first place, you shouldnt be installing it your self anyway.

Also ZEX rates their jets in BHP, where as NX and NOS nitrous rate their Hp figures at the WHEELS.

As for as NOS and NX are concerned, they are top in my book. SOme people prefer NX because their solenoids are bigger. Others get NOS because they are the oldest company around, and obviously know their ****.

I persoanlly got a NOS kit because i got a good deal on a used kit.
Either way, NX or NOS you cant go wrong.

Venom is a waste of money. You pay 1200 for a kit that gives you th SAME gains as a 400 dollar NOS or NX kit, but it comes with all sorts of computer controled crap. Whats that mean? Even more money needs to be spent on tuning the damn thing PLUS having computer controled crap means there is all that much more to screw up.

KISS. KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID.
