They're HID? I was gonna order these from this guy. Click Are these the bulbs you got Injencivic? Or do you have conversion. Cuz I read from ur members ride you have MTEC Hyperwhite H4 bulbs.
I guess he means they're HID bulbs... i.e. "fake" HID. I took a look at them and they're just bulbs like PIAA, the difference is they're a lot cheaper. They don't produce as much light as they say they do, it's about 1000 lumens, just like stock bulbs but they focust all the light more than stock bulbs do so they appear more powerful, and they got the blue tint so they have about 4000K color temp.
Honestly, it's a really good choice for H4 bulbs that look like HIDs, really cheap and do the same thing as PIAA.

does anyone know where we can get matching 7443's and 194's?
ak i know i talked to you about this a while back, but i forgot.
i like how bright they are, but i want the rest to match too. no point in having white headlights and and yellow corners.
anyone?

I had MTEC's in my car, they blew out within a month so i put my PIAA's back in....I even cleaned them with alchol and didn't touch them...It all comes down to this, no after market bulb is going to last as long as the stock ones. Sure people say that they have had they're bulbs for a year or so, but they always blow out eventually. MTEC's are OK for the price, but they blow out just as fast as the other aftermarket bulbs.

I agree with you on the price...can't beat it...
The 4350K isn't a temperature rating...It's where the light ranges on the KELVIN SCALE...

I cleaned mine with windex and they still work fine after 4 months. The glass is not bubbled at all.

I have found that the Polarg signal and park lights match the mtecs pretty close, but the bulbs are blue, which doesn't bother me.

Just take the bracket off before you install...(i've heard that they can pop off and melt onto the bulb)...

And the ring, i removed mine. The glue wasn't too strong and it looked like it was about to fall.

ak is right. They are tinted blue, and for about a month after I installed mine, there was a definate blue tint in the light. But now I've had mine for about a month and a half, and they seem whiter. I don't know if the blue tint faded or whether I'm just used to them now, but they definitely seem whiter, and they are better for driving on the highway, much easier to see farther distances. MTEC's =

I love them!
Hey Injen, what type of bulb is that on the small light beside the headlight. Not the turn signal, but that stupid little one that does nothing. I still have the stock bulbs there, with my MTEC's and the color difference is a little stupid. Thanks in advance.
