removing cat....putting on resonator

wassup fellas......i was talking to this kid the other day and he told me that if you want some extra power and deeper nice tone to your car (which i feel my Greddy Evo gives me already) to remove the cat and put on a resonator......i was actually planning on leaving the cat on because i heard that it is actullay one of the least restrictive parts of our exhaust system......is their any truth in what i heard from this kid, his exact words were "take off the cat and put the resonator, your car will sound soooooooooooo much better, and you'll get 15 horse"....HOW TRUE IS THIS!.........i told him then why doesn't everybody do....a resonator is like 20 bucks.........

I don't know about 15 horses ... you'll probably get around 8 for the cat. And no, the cat is actually one of the more restrictive parts.
