I'm just wondering what's up with these prices on these engines? Isn't $3000 for a k20a sound a little cheap to you guys even though it may have 35k or so miles on it? I'm just curious because a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't find any k20a2s that were selling for less than $3500. Why have these engines suddenly gone cheap? Or maybe it's just the type-r's that have gone cheap?

Also, maybe you guys can help me decide. What if you had the choice of putting a k20a into a 02 lx coupe or an rsx (non-type s). Where would you put it? I know the rsx would be cheaper because I won't have to buy auxiliaries like p/s,ac etc. or mess with the radiator and so on. But the civic is also about 300lbs lighter. Then again I think the rsx body looks so damn good! Tell me what you guys think.

the price is low because the engine isnt in high demand right now. not many people are doing a k20 swap like they are say a b series swap, that is why the k20's are cheap (in comparision with other motors). as for putting in a base rsx motor into your car, not worth it for the money you are going to spend for a meesly what like 141 whp. your better off dropping 3-5 grand into a turbo and boost it a bit, you will get alot more power out of it.

Yeah, those prices are really good. Rather low reserves on them now too. Hmm... This is making me want to abandon the D17 turbo and just do the Type R swap. I mean hell, for the same money I could have an LSD, brand new clutch, newer motor, more horsepower, tra la la la la... I have to do some more research, 'cause this is ticking me off. Hehe... Woops! I guess I didn't make myself clear. I meant to say that I have an 02 lx coupe and an rsx (non type -s) available to me. I just wanted opinions, pros and cons on putting the k20a on a civic or an rsx body.
