Ok so here is my story. A buddy of mine send me a link to ebay where they were selling K20a-r, the bid was at $1700, knowing for how much these engines run I chose the option of mailing them and telling them that I want it roght now for 2500. The auction ended 2 days ago and now I got a reply from dude selling it that I should send him all the info and he will tell me how and where! Don't u guys think it is to cheap for k20a-r? Oh yes did I mention that it has 0 miles on it?? Hmmm I might as well keep it for a while, swap it and sell it after 1 year ad still make $$. What u guys think? Need your opinion. Here are also the pics which he send me

Rep Power: 0 It is legit! The reason why they are so cheap right now is because there is a low demand on the engines. Once the demand goes up, the price will go up. I had bought one a while back but had to cancel my order.

Rep Power: 0 So what u guys think? The only way to pay this guy is wire transfer. He had a lot of feedback on e-bay. Hmm but it is so freaking tempting!

Rep Power: 0 It would seem to me that even if it came from Japan. It wouldn’t be cheap for them to send it over. I mean to sell it for that price when all the others I have seen are around 5k seems a little low. When people will only take one type of payment that is "NON REFUNDABLE" that makes me worry. Ask him if there is a warranty. Or any other way he can guarantee your satisfaction. that’s a sweet price..but if it turn out to be a huge freakin paper weight. As always all statements are just my opinion

Rep Power: 504 Use an escrow service.
www.escrow.com is a good one. I've used them before. Demand it and say this is the only way you'll buy it from him.
I calculated it for you. If he insists on Wire Transfer at $2500 your escrow fee will be $90. A small price to pay to ensure you get what you pay for, IMO.
Check or money order will cost you a $75 fee and Credit Card would be $150.
Good luck.
