Tanabe vs GReddy
If you had a choice between an exhaust from Tanabe or an exhaust from GReddy, which would you choose and why? I would like to know seeing that those are the two types of cat-backs that I am looking towards getting. Thanks for helping.

Tanabe all the way, the Tanabe has a more straight through design to expel the exhaust gases faster and its been dynoed to produce the best gains in Hp and Torque out of all the other cat backs available for 7thgens. It looks good, sounds loud deep and throaty and its got the cannon muffler, stainless steel all the way where as Greddy i think the muffler is the only stainless steel part so itll rust over the years. Hope this helps ya and you can get the Tanabe for 500.00 shipped in the US

EXTREMEMLY good reasons. That makes me want one already just hearing all that. I mean both are the same price so it matters on which one performs, looks, and of course sounds better. I have heard the sound of one Tanabe from the products forum which is why I have been looking into them so much. Thanks RedDragon333
some guy sold me his greddy evo when the tanabe came out
and i wuz like WTF?????
but i benefit out of it.....i love my greddy, not too loud but just hangs a little too low
and i always back into a curve...when i have some extra cash i'll get the flanges cut.....
is it possible to professionally put some type of clear coat on it so it won't rust??
first of all.....i/h/e......you won't get jack squat out of it....
"what kind of exhaust do you have?"
"i have the Greddddy EEEvvvoooo"
gotta love saying that

I just got the Greddy Evo and I love it......my car isn't loud and annoying like some other exhaust sound....the Greddy exhaust sounds very CRISP, the only feedback I could give you on the Tanabe is that my boy has it on his GSR and it sounds different than the Greddy......it sounds a little more "restricted"..if you can even say that.....and I don't like the "angle" that some tanabes have.....when turning at high speeds there has to be some rub with that.......

I have the Tanabe also and love it very much. The gains were pretty good (from what I could feel). The sound is great, nice and deep, I only wish it was a little louder but thats because I like loud exhausts, does anyone know anything I could do to my car to make the exhaust a little louder?

it really depends on what kind of style u like, personnaly i like the big canister exhausts so i'd go for the greddy
oh and the tanabe doesnt angle anywhere ive heard it just goes straight back.
