I know everybody talks about what the best parts/companies are but how about helping people out in another way. Keep them from making mistakes of buying bad parts. So, please list the part and company that produces the part along with the reason why it is a bad product.

Personally i think this thread will be more useful than the "what is the best" threads. I'd rather know what NOT to buy and be saved from having to repurchas another part than just not having "the best"

Not sure this is worth of being a stickey top post but maybe if everyone does this right it could help alot of people from making mistakes.

1. Any double decker or highdeck spoiler!!! Why? Because it looks unbelievably stupid and serves no purpose on our cars!
2. Altezza tail lights!!! For the same reason above.
3. Crome rims. They are heavy and pointless unless for show.
4. Any neon lighting. Unless strickly for show. At car shows not sitting in some parking lot hanging around!
5. Any turbo or SC for our cars. Unless you are getting more then 200whp from them. It's like putting forced induction on a lawn mower and it's a waste of money.

These are just my opinions.

1. LED wiper nozzles.

2. Type R stickers or emblems

3. Dual exaust outlets

4. Bobber head dog in back window

5. Anything dangling from the rear view mirror.

6. Tornado or other intake device like that.

7. Electronic device that makes noises like a turbo

8. Horn that plays "Dixie" or other songs.

9. Flame decals

10. Big assed VTEC, Team Honda, or other decals and/or winshield strip.

i don't think this thread achieved its goal.....i think he wanted people to put down parts that were of poor quality or didn't work properly.....not just anti-rice opinions

Actually this thread was about "bad" products and everything that was stated are "bad" products. So this thread has definately achieved its goal.

No, maybe it achieved what YOU wanted it to achieve, but I think the poster wanted information on poor quality products. There's not a lot of stuff out there to choose from yet so I think the quality of most of them is all right. The only thing I put on my car that was a pain in the butt was my magnaflow exhaust. I had it mandrel bent again to fit properly. Only cost me an extra $45, so a little imagination and money, some products can be good.
