Strut Bar and Short Ram
Hi everyone.
I have a generic bomz strut bar and I was wondering what type of Short Ram intakes could fit?
Im hoping the AEM SRI will fit?
Thanks

i also have a generic strut bar, and a aem sri, it does fit, the intake on mine would hit the strut bar, denting it a bit, and making a odd sound when it bumped, so i took a shop rag, wrapped it around the strut bar, and taped it, untill i can buy a injen intake, so you dont see the ugly *** rag, or hear that sound
I'm not sure of the style of the AEM, but I have an Injen SRI with a matrix strut bar (Same design as the generic ones). It fits just fine, probably about a 1" clearance. If the AEM won't fit, just go with the Injen. They're pretty much comparable. You're really not going to see a difference in the two.

Your generic strut bar will fit if you twist it.
Else, Only Neuspeed and DC fit with AEM SRI/CAI & Injen CAI.
