Yet another HP ?, wait it's different
Yet another HP ?, wait it's different
I read several threads on the HP header and I did not see this question asked or answered. The thing is, I live in an emission county (which sucks) and I am looking for a loop hole. I was wondering if I could get the shorty HP header and a few years from now get the downpipe w/ hi-flow cat. I was reading the emission laws and they stated that a vehicle is not to have an aftermarket cat unless the vehicle is at least 5 years old. Since I have heard of people passing the actual emissions test with this header (just not the visual test), would I be able to get away with when my car is a few years older. My other option is to just remove it once a year during emission test time. What do you guys think.

buy and install it anyway
swap with stock when going for emissions testing.
or else... none of us CA people would be fixing our cars.
