i'm not tryin to be an *** but aren't splitters 2 peice's, i beleive thats a splitter, one peice. either way both look good. the splitter looks realy good if you mount those little tiny struts to it that attach it to your front end. seriously though that first comment was more a question than a remark.
where can i buy splitters for my front bumper. i would like to buy it cuz my driveway is very steep and i have to put my car in reverse to get up the driveway.

i want a one piece splitter .. not this kind .. i'm prolly gonna let my shop design and make one for me !
Here is a link to a local shop that has them. You may want to check it out.Click here
i made my own...two pieces. was afraid it would look weird going across the middle of my tsunami bumber, if i remember correctly, i have a pic in my member ride pics...i have to update them tho, now i have octane skirts and rear. made a template, then cut it out of a pre-fab sheet of carbon fiber

There is a closeup of one of the splitters in my member's ride section...here's a linkyMaverick's Money Pit
Grey, btw, I heard you met my good buddy rob clark up in Connecticut? or someplace a lil whil ago.....
Anyway, my friend runs a VW shop called Eastside Motorsports here in MD, and he already had a sheet of carbon fiber so that is what I used. Not sure where you can buy that, but I'll try and find out...but I'm sure somebody knows.
Next, I took the Tsunami bumper off. I laid a blanket on the garage floor with bumper on top, then i took 2 squares of cardboard..about 2'x2' roughly and then traced the inner and outer edge of the corner of the bumper thus making a template.
They look similar to a crescent shape or boomerang...I cut them out with a blade cutter, then took the template to the shop. You may not have to make two, I only did in the case one corner was a lil different than the other.
We traced the template on the sheet of carbon fiber with a black wax pencil and cut it out with a rotozip. A dremel with the right sutting tip would do the trick as well.
We then put the bumper back on, hand placed the splitters underneath and pre drilled holes into the carbon fiber and the bumper.
Then we took a plastic rivet gun and attached the pieces to the bumper. I believe I used 4 or 5 rivets on each piece...screws will probably work fine though
Hope this helps. I'll hopefully have some new pics up soon with the Octane sides and rear I just put on. If you have any more questions, please feel free to email me Ken's email
Later guys.

Oh, they were pre-made pieces of carbon fiber. You see, I want to know how to make carbon fiber stuff myself. I've kinda looked on the net a little and I haven't found anything. I know that there's a sheet of CF weave. Then there's some goo that you use. Hardener or resin. Something like that. Anyway, I'll figure it out sooner or later. Thanks for the info. I actually want to put some titanium sheet on the underside of the Tsunami so that I can grind that away instead of the bumper when my bumper scrapes.
