Broke Revo SS

I shifted hard into 3rd and broke my Revo SS. I broke the piece that holds the cable. Anyone else have this problem?

actually I have heard of one on an RSX that SNAPPED. the shifter stick snapped. ouch!

but the dude was abusing it.. so...

still shouldn't snap though IMO.

Mine broke where the cable attaches to the plastic not to the metal. Its held on to the plastic with a gold colored clip. I tried epoxying it yesterday but epoxy doesnt work well with that material. I emailed Revo and Im waiting for a response.
