Actually, the correct answer is nitrous. Only a couple of runs before you have to buy more nitrous though.
If you don't want to spend money on nitrous, then I guess this is what you could do...
1. AEM CAI V2 ~$250
2. Denso Iridium Spark Plugs (IK20) ~$50
3. Unorthodox Racing Ultra SS Pully Set ~$300
All of this will net you about 6 - 12 horsies. Probably closer to 6 than 12.
Changing the exhaust doesn't do as much for our cars as an intake does. That is unless you have a DX, LX, or HX. Then an aftermarket header and exhaust system might give you a little more horsepower. Since the EX has 127 and the other models have 115 (117 for the HX which also has VTEC). I guess the catalytic converter that's moved farther down (like in the EX) could give you as much as 127 - 117 = 10 horsepower.
