One suggestion for you - RETURN IT BEFORE YOU HURT YOURSELF, OTHERS, or FU*K UP YOUR CAR.

If you dont know what your doing with nitrous enough to ask for help, you shouldnt be using it.

lol i agree, if you dont know what you are messing with, dont use it. in the movies they make n20 look cool, but in real life, if it is miss used, it will KILL you and others.

Why are you going to post that crap? Im sure he is aware of what Nitrous does. He was refering to a particular kit. Jesus, everyone is just willing to flame on anyone that mentions the word nitrous. And its a common misconception that NOS refers to Nitrous, as aposed to nitrous oxide systems. Anyways, instead of just bashing the guy inform him. And as far as I am concerned you havent proven you know what your talking about either. Just my .02 I dont care one way or another.

Well now, the guy says he already bought the kit, but now is asking about it. Wouldn't it be a good idea to check it out before buying it?

All I got from a search on Nitrous Works was a company that makes throttle plates, pressure regulators, saftey valves, etc for nitrous systems, mostly off road and big bores, but no kits for lttle Honda cars.

Bartkat was the only one to post any usefull information, good job guys another post that missed the point.

I can only elaborate a little one what bartkat said. I only know word of mouth on Nitrous Works kits. I have heard good things about their kits how ever like bartkat said they aren't really for hondas. They are V8's. I'm sure you could rig it for a 4 cylinder but why bother when you could just buy a kit for a 4 cylinder. I haven't looked into one of their kits in some time sense I found they were for larger engines but they might have come out with a kit sense I last looked.

you said NOS and nitrous works. those are both brand names, which one did you get? If you did get the nitrous works could you give us more info about it cuz I haven't seen one and would like to look into it.

Looks like it's a nitrous works kit, I don't know what all that talk is about zex nx and nos is. email the guy and ask why he has all the other brand names listed with the nitrous works pic. IMO seems a little shady he put all that other stuff up unless he's trying to say he sells all those kits for that price.

I would ask to make sure it is for 4 cylinders also. If it is for 4 cylinders and a wet kit it seems like a good price.

Nitrous as in Nitrous Oxide.

I'm no expert, but from what I have read a wet system will work with our cars. Most people don't recommend more than a 50 shot with stock engines.

You might want to search these threads and archives for "nitrous", "NOS", "N2O" , etd.

i would take it to a shop and have them look at it, see if it's something that's actually compatible with your car

Yeah, for $420 I'd buy it and try it and if I didn't like it, put it on the shelf or sell it.

Ok just for the hell of it I sent the guy an email.

"Some of the guys on the 7thgencivic.com board are interested in this nitrous system. The question is, will it work on a 2001 and newer Honda Civic? I mean will it work as sold without additional parts and or modificatiions.

Thanks."

We'll see what comes back.

A guy I know has a Nitrous Works setup on his neon. The kit he has is looks the same as an NX kit. The setup is a wet set up and comes with an orange bottle, other than that it is the same as an NX kit.

I posted THAT CRAP because in case you missed his original question, he asked for comments and I offered him one. I made no attempt at "flaming" or "bashing" him. I stated that if he bought something he should already know what it is and what it does (i.e. know how to install, maintain, and operate properly). Nitrous is NOT a damn toy and if it wasnt for that stupid movie there would 1/10th of the market for it as there is now. Yes he did look stupid for saying he bought some NOS and then saying he got the Nitrous Works kit, but did you see me comment on it? NO. All I see is you being a post ***** trying to stick up for him because I made a suggestion which was part of his original post.

Back the F**K off you pansy azz little boy scout and think next time before you try to defend someone else.

I know a girl that has a 125 shot of nitrous works on her neon, her car is in the new mopar magazine. She runs 11's on stock tires! About 50,000 dollars invested! It is bad
