Rep Power: 388 I like the Viper. I've had the Viper 550 and now the 600.
Very trustworthy system.
You can add on:
- backup battery
- pager system
- remote start
- perimeter sensor
- trunk pop
- smart windows
- smart lights
- gas tank pop
and LOTS more.....

The 2 alarms should be pretty similar. Just like Rev said, they are in fact made by the same company (Directed)

Rep Power: 0 hello people???? all vipers have engine kill...Viper Standard Features
oh yeah... starter kill is somewhat a theft deterant. theives can still start your car once they locate your alarm brain and cross the ignition starter wire. so my advice to you is this.. when you get the alarm installed.. make sure the brain is well hidden.. and splice the ignition starter wire (SOLID BLACK w/ WHITE STRIPE) somewhere that isnt easily visible or accessable.
if you dont believe me.. you can go to your alarm brain... locate the wire that connects to the 10 guage (SOLID BLACK w/ WHITE STRIPE) wire.. connect the wires together.. and viola.. your engine can be started.
please... search the forum before you post. its getting old.
