yes, another angel eye question
Intrested in the angel eye look, but i haven't seen any w/o the blue ring. My problem is I drive 100 miles/day and drive through 13 towns/ cities. I've been pulled over too many times to count and if I had a blue ring on my headlights, I'd get bagged w/in one week. Do they make a LED that's maybe hyperwhite or even just the "yellow" white. Or..can you change the LED bulbs? sorry for sounding like a newby, but I know the value of researching shiat before you purchase...thanks

I have seen the angel eyes with blue and white rings heres a pic of the blue ones Link They have the SAE/DOT number on the headlight so if you get pulled over just pop the hood and show them no biggie? Don't know about changing the led sorry

you can't even tell it has the blue rings unless you have your running lights on and its pretty dark.
But Ive herd that anyone that makes headlights that are not factory can put DOT/SAE on the headlights. As long as they see that blue they'll pull you over no matter what it says on the headlights.

"imposing a police officer" - i had to go to the state police barracks and show the replacement lights, then he ripped up my $300 dollar ticket, other than that, I've honestly been pulled over WAY too many times, so unless I can get angel eyes w/o the blue, i'm gonna stick w/ factory painted lights....thanks guys

The angel eyes they sell are not DOT approved. First they emit blue light. Second, most don't even have a yellow reflector. You can buy projectors and make them into angel eyes. DIY angel eyes. I am currently working on this project for my stock parking lights. Like was said tho, any thing that isn't stock or says DOT/SAE on them are technically illegal. Whether they notice or not is another thing.
Ask me about your mom.

It's quite the gay way to do things, but that's the way it is.
