Magnafloe Exhaust legal????

Ok i know that I read somewhere that the magnaflow exhaust system is legal in all 50 states. The thing that Im not sure about is that in New Jersey i believe it is illegal to replace your cat back. So how is it legal to have a magnaflow exhaust if it replaces the cat back.

For like the 200th time !!!!!! The Magnaflow CAT BACK does NOT replace the cat!!!!!!!!!!! That thing you guys think is the cat is the silencer / resonator! A cat back exhaust is from the end of the cat back not the cat!!

ok, that should clarify a few things

Ok i know i might be going off topic here, but I wanted to ask a question about the magnaflow exhaust. Does anyone in this board have the magnaflow exhaust with a 1.5 in drop? Ive heard that they scrape over speed bumps or whatever. I just wanted to know if anyone is having problems with them. Thanx

I have the Magnaflow cat back system and my car is lowered on H&R Sport springs...I do scrape over steep hills and some speed bumps...The cat scrapes as well as the ubolts, you can help that by either getting your exhaust welded or turning your ubolts so they face outward instead of down (if that makes sense )...It's not too bad, if you are careful you shouldn't have many problems

I have the magnaflow and I'm on neuspeed sports, 1.75" front and 1.5" rear.

The midpipe scrapes on every speed-bump that I cross. Somethings the pipe is pushed up against the bottom of the car. I almost got stuck leaving a parking garage yesterday. I don't think it was because of the mag but the slope of the incline and how low my car sits.
