help with hood
i need to give the body shop the info on the parts i want tomorrow, so i need to pick out a carbon fiber hood tonight. anybody got any suggestions? i was thinking of going with the TCS carbon invader hood because it's close to what i had before. i know there are a lot of hoods out there, but i don't know if anybody's had problems with any of them. and, do you think i should go through the trouble to get it painted? i think it would be nice, but if it's got the vent, it's going to look crappy where it cuts away. anyways, help me out guys.
edit: where should i get the scratch pads for the hood pins? i'm going to use the old pins and pillars, but i don't have the disc that goes around the hole in the hood.

vis racing makes the same style hood, but vis' hood already has the grille installed on the vent, and it will cost less if the body shop orders it through a wholesale account from vis (that's what they did for me). great quality too; rounded edges, uniform pattern, strong latch, and a super uv protectant coat (only a couple conpanies actually offer this). it took them a while to ship it though, that was the only drawback.
