What do the coupe JDM tails look like for our cars? Where can I find them? How much?

I'm ready to get rid of these damn tezza's! but I still want something original.

There are ones that have three rings but a red casing. The are angel eyed tails, but don't look that bad compared to altezzas. I have thought about getting them. angel tails

Try to get your hands on the euro-spec tails. They are exactly like our stock ones, except the blinker section is clear. They look nice with yellow blinkers . They'll put you out about $300 though, if you can even find 'em.

here, front and rear.

to convert to EU spec, you will need an EX coupe/Si/Si Veloz coupe and tack on EU rear tail lights, rear fog light on the bumper [ugly], side markers, EL 1.7 wheels, and EU sideview mirrors.

I'm thinking of asking my bro's friend [from EU] for the favour.
I just want the sidemarker and sideview mirrors now. I thought about converting, but that tail just isnt that good looking in my eyes, and EL wheels will only eat into my rim/tire budget for the upcoming spring/summer, lol.

after taking a hard look at the sideview mirrors, I believe I can just buy the SiR sideview mirrors and swap them onto my coupe and get rid of our non folding, aerodynamically inefficient pair.

i have those *non-altezza* coupe tails that Rob showed pics of, you can see what they look like in my member's ride (i just posted the new pics there with my car after installing my TeinSS coilovers)

Mex has the Euro spec coupe taillights and they look very nice on ihs silver coupe. he got them from one of his friends from the UK or something.

Mex has those Euro Tails.

You can also go for the Jaguar style tails on ebay (usually $98 + shipping)

or simply smoke them.

If you don't have "connections" in Europe you can always find a Honda dealer on the internet & Email them to see if they will sell & ship you those taillights. They shouldn't have a problem with it as long as you're ready to pay those shipping costs.

it's a lot nicer looking that I expected, you taillights. yeah, I'll let you know, but EU sideview mirrors, i think it's a twin to the SiR/Si mirror... folding power mirrors. I think they fit on our coupes without much problem, since the power mirror switch seems like the same deal, and the application point/dimension [triangular part] of Si and coupe seem equal, unlike sedans with higher rooflines. also, when you go to ebay and other places that sell aftermarket M3 mirrors, they advertise that their M3 mirrors will fit 2001+ civic coupe and the new Si hatch. I'm going to drop by the dealership soon and check it out for myself.. with tape measures and digi. camera. i'll let you guys know whatever I figure out. I guess I can always ask the parts department.[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]
